Jerry onDemand started in 2004 as a way to keep in touch with my friends back at home. Then I realized we could use it to play Fantasy Idol onDemand, which we created on Season 2 of American Idol as a way to prove who could best predict the person getting kicked off each week as well as predict the winner.
Through the years my site has had many fun themes and additions to it, including Car Tips, Information about random cities in the USA, and even a game to predict the Hurricane Season. And now, my site has taken on a new look as an iPhone Site! Its in its early stages, but still pretty cool in my opinion.

Apple News and Info
iOS 4.0.1 was released on the 15th. The update "improves the formula to determine how many bars of signal strength to display." In our testing, it definately has made a difference in the signal level reporting, and the bars are physically larger as well. Not sure why that is though
Antennagate?? Thursday's Apple Conference (7/15) revealed that, Apple's not really ready to say it's sorry about the iPhone 4 antenna design, but it is willing to give all you darn squeaky wheels free cases for your trouble. Since Apple can't build its own Bumpers fast enough, it will give you a few options and let you decide, then send it your way for free as long as you purchased the phone before September 30th. Not good enough for you? Well, if you already bought a bumper from Apple you'll get a refund, and you can also return your phone for a full refund within 30 days as long as it's unharmed.

Matt certainly has pissed Andrew off by putting him up on the block. At first I thought it was just gameplay, but with him complaining the first 10 min of Wednesdays show, I think he's legitly pissed.
The POV Competition was a game where the housemates had to count the number of objects. Who ever was the furthest away, was eliminated from the competition. In the end it came down to Rachel, Brendon and Andrew. Brendon was the closest and is this weeks POV.
In the POV ceremony, Kathy pleaded not to use the POV since Rachel would probally be put up. Andrew made some weird ass lame comment basically he said, "Brendon and Rachel I'm coming after you, Brendon use the POV on me", huh? What a tard....But at any rate...Brendon did not use the POV.
Thursday's show started with Andrew's dumbass plea for Brendon to use the POV on him, ugh...like we needed to hear that stupid thing again.
The whole house is calling Andrew's bluff, they are very suspect that he is really on Brendon and Rachels side and it was all a setup. This started a whole lot of chatter around the house. Has Andrew saved himself by putting such a big target on himself?
LOVED the interview with Matt's wife, regarding how she felt about her husband lying about her having a bone disease.
WOW, Andrew's final speech was a bombshell, he outed the secret relationship of Hayden and Kristen, he talked about how they said bad things about others. He then talked about Kristen being the tin man and that everyone needs to watch out for her. Craziness!!
Voting Results: by a vote of 8 to 0, Andrew is evicted.
Next Up: The HOH Competition, BB KnockOut, 2 at a time housemates competed to answer questions about the past weeks of BB. It came down to Lane and Rachel, and Rachel won!!
Thursday we find out who America chose to become the new Saboteur.

Development Tips
iPhone Detection
Your 'normal' website can detect an iphone and direct users to an iPhone friendly version of a site by adding this code to the header of the 'normal' website.

Web Clip Icons
Replace the 'icon.png' image to add your own web clipping icon. The code to call the icon is included in the template
Page Decor
Currently, included are 2 classes:
class="panel" and class="plain"
This controls the page layout to be either blank or have the pinstrip background. Add your own class in the CSS and a background image to create your own.
Editing
Removing the iui.css line in the header will make editing your pages in Dreamwever easier. Be sure to add it back to your live site when finished.

Add Audio/QT
You can add an .mp3 or QT movie too. Remember, iPhone Safari doesn't render Flash, so use an .mp3 file in this manner:

Audio Tip: Decreasing the file size of .mps'3 helps your users by decreasing download time. Using QuickTime to Export your file to ACC, 32 rate will produce a much smaller .mov file of your mp3.
